Job Description: We are looking for a mid to senior-level Freelance Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) who is accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating workloads. This is an open-ended freelance contract with negotiable rates based on experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality eLearning solutions across various levels (Level 1, 2, 3, and custom), managing multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
- Develop engaging and effective eLearning materials for various levels, including custom solutions tailored to client needs.
- Create detailed storyboards and design documents using Word or other formats to guide the development process.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects for different clients simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Quickly adapt to changes in project scope, deadlines, and priorities while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with graphic designers, developers, and project managers to create cohesive and effective learning solutions.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their objectives.
Technical Skills:
- Demonstrate mid to advanced proficiency in Articulate Rise 360. Experience with other eLearning authoring tools is a plus.
- Utilize changelogs to track and manage revisions and updates to learning materials.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Instructional Systems Designer, preferably in a freelance capacity.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Experience in creating eLearning content at various levels.
- Proficient in Articulate Rise 360; familiarity with other eLearning tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Comfortable working with various clients and adapting to different brand styles and guidelines.
- Familiarity with changelogs and version control processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
